PRINCESS BEATRICE DROPS HUGE HINT ABOUT ROYAL FUTURE WITH TELLING WILLIAM MOVE

Princess Beatrice may have dropped a massive hint about her future within the Royal Family by helping Prince William on a key UK event.

The royals were recently called to action as Japanese Emperor Naruhito - a university pal of King Charles III - landed in the country for an official visit early this week. The Emperor, who acceded to the Chrysanthemum Throne in 2019, has enjoyed a week of pomp and ceremony, being flanked by multiple royals for state events as the Prime Minister and other key officials are occupied by the general election.

Prince William is among the higher ranking royals playing a major part in the visit, meaning 35-year-old Beatrice was drafted to take on one of his duties. While not an official member of the royal rota under the King's slimmed-down model, she stepped for the Prince during an Earthshot Prize event.

The prize, which was founded by the heir-to-the-throne with the backing of the Royal Foundation in 2020, held a water roundtable on June 25, when William was helping welcome the Emperor and Empress Masako to British shores. The Daily Express reported that she joined investors and philanthropists who had gathered to "explore water as an emerging investment theme", a Beatrice fan account reported in a post on X.

Princess Beatrice participating in the event despite not officially participating in the royal rota alongside her cousins could be seen as an opportunity for her to join the Firm's working ranks. The royals are one member short, with Kate, the Princess of Wales stepping down from duties as she receives preventative treatment for an undisclosed cancer.

The King, while having appeared at Trooping the Colour and steadily returning to official duties, is also receiving treatment for a type of cancer. Anything more than a temporary expansion of the Firm's ranks is unlikely as Charles is famously keen on tightening the royal working rota.

But Beatrice and her sister Eugenie are reportedly keen to join the rest of their family, with a friend of the pair revealing they "have a lot to offer" earlier this year.
