EVERYTHING TO KNOW ABOUT THE SUMMER 2024 GIGS AT LIMERICK'S THOMOND PARK

2024 is the year of the gig for Ireland.

It seems as though every single one of our favourite artists are playing somewhere across the Emerald Isle, mostly in Dublin, but that doesn't exclude the rest of the country.

We're just about over our Swiftie fever and are prepared to be mesmerised by Coldplay, lest we forget that three renowned artists are set to grace the stage of Limerick's Thomond Park this month. Take a look:

Who's playing?

The summer 2024 gigs kick off at Thomond Park on Friday, June 12, with Snow Patrol. The Northern-Irish Scottish rock band will take to the Limerick stage for their only concert of the year.

They'll be supported by Irish bands Kingfishr and Pillow Queens. We wonder if Johnny McDaid's partner Courteney Cox will make an appearance in Limerick for her beau's gig!

On Saturday, July 13, Paolo Nutini will grace the stage supported by Irish singer CMAT and Scottish band Brògeal.

Closing the Thomond Park summer line-up is Liam Gallagher on Sunday, July 14. The former Oasis member will be supported by Irish folk band The Mary Wallopers, who hail from Dundalk, on stage.

Tickets

Music lovers rejoice! If you hadn't realised your favourite artist was playing in Limerick this summer, you can still get your hands on tickets to each of the three gigs here.

Tickets start at €40 for Snow Patrol and €49.50 for Paolo Nutini and Liam Gallagher. Happy buying!

Timings

For all three shows, gates open at 5pm with the shows expected to kick off at 6pm. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time!

Transport

MCD Productions is strongly encouraging concertgoers to walk to Thomond Park as traffic and parking delays are expected.

If you're travelling to Limerick, Irish Rail provide links from all around the country to Limerick City's Colbert Station. Meanwhile Bus Éireann operates routes 302, 303 and 306 to the city.

If you're planning to travel by car, be warned that limited parking is available which must be booked in advance using the Evntz app.
